Good
- finally allow WIFI setup during installation... and it detects my netgear W511 as usual. Of course, I still need to manually install the firmware in /lib/firmware
- build-in bluetooth works out of the box. I was able to send pictures from my O2 XDA II (just get it from my brother after he got a O2 Atom)
- SCIM is a better input method system, now I just have to learn to type in Chinese...
Not too good
- don't see the save session box on logout, even I check the "ask to save session" in session setup
-
- cannot share one network interface in multiple connections... than how do I setup my WIFI card for many networks (ie home, work)?
- no JRE for Firefox (I don't use JDK...) still, and no pre-build package to install easily, even from Livna).
- PC card subsystem seem less stable on T30, as sometimes my W511 is failed to detect. However, it works if I insert the card after bootup.
p.s. I think everyone knows already, GNOME is so much faster on FC5. It's awesome.
BTW, I am only using the default yum setup plus Livna for now. I am worried about running into rpm conflicts when I mixed RPMForge and other 3rd party repositories.
