That sounds like a nice system, did you mean a 200gb sata drive?

No. It's just a 20GB ATA HDD. I don't have any SATA HDD right now.

When you decide to add more disk, go with a SATA drive. On my system I can tell the difference in speed.

With today's processors and faster memory, the bottleneck is the disk drive.

Yeah... I have been debating that..... $$$ vs better performance. Keep in mind that I'm running s/w RAID, so I need to get 2 disks.....

I think what I will used this 20GB as / and put my 2 80GB from my current server as /home, setup a RAID on it first. Later will get a pair of 120 or 200 GB SATA when the price come down more.

I also planning to get a new prosumer dig cam... that going to hurt me finanially.... sad
