My passion has always been on software development, and I know it since I wrote my first program on an Apple II. I worked on cellular wireless system in the past (C/C++) and now focus on web application (LAMP, PHP, MySQL, CakePHP, Symfony, jQuery, Google AppEngine/python).

That sounds like a nice system, did you mean a 200gb sata drive?
No. It's just a 20GB ATA HDD. I don't have any SATA HDD right now.
When you decide to add more disk, go with a SATA drive. On my system I can tell the difference in speed.
With today's processors and faster memory, the bottleneck is the disk drive.
Yeah... I have been debating that..... $$$ vs better performance. Keep in mind that I'm running s/w RAID, so I need to get 2 disks.....
I think what I will used this 20GB as / and put my 2 80GB from my current server as /home, setup a RAID on it first. Later will get a pair of 120 or 200 GB SATA when the price come down more.
I also planning to get a new prosumer dig cam... that going to hurt me finanially....
