The weather is somewhat cold (it was -28 on Friday night...), the good news is we've been getting snow on and off throughout the week. So, the snow condition is pretty good.
Session #9
Anne is running yet another park session again, not much to report, see here instead.
Session #10
Ezio continues on carving from where Tamara left off.
Focus:
- Angulation and Inclination to dig the edge into snow, while our body stays inside the board.
- Shoulder turns (angle) is reduced. However, the shoulder should continue to rotate as the board carving through the hill. Otherwise, upper body and the board might create a counter rotation scenario.
- Hop on pivot from edge to edge to create that "perfect" crave
- Big and wide turn to allow the edge to work
Problem:
- Back bending on toe turn.
Solution:
- Increase angulation on board to allow more flex on knee.
- Keep back straight and align to the board.
Exercise/Drill:
- rail to rail
