TIME.com: Meet Joe Blog -- Jun. 21, 2004
I have a BBQ at my place last Friday and took the time to experiment a bit with seasonings.
The steaks are spiced with Oregano leaf, black pepper, and salt, as suggested by Uncel Nick. The O leaf indeed tasted better over BBQ, but I think I can used some more salt.
The wings are done kind of Chinese way with corn stratch, gingers, rice wine, garlic, salt, and suger. No soy sauce was used since I was thinking of honey garlic wings at the beginning, but made a mistake of adding suger, which burn very easily over the grill.
Lesson learnt: no suger in meat for BBQ!

06/07: The Future is Nomad
It's always fun to read about the future when people predicting it, no matter it's a high tech utopia, or a dark living hell.
PTV: A FUTURE-STATE STORY
Many life-styles mentioned in the post are already happening in various form today:
- mobile/home-base working allow a office worker to work from anywhere. In fact, Nortel has home-based emplyees for at least 4 years now. I can work out of the office in a limited way since I got the 7135. Actually, I was "kind of" working out of office (getting call, checking email) while bringing my car in for a windshield fix few weeks ago.
- WIFI/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/1xRTT allow user access to the internet anywhere and anytime. I made my first post via WAP a while back. The trend is only going to accularate, once they found how to integrate the service into our life and make it useful.

05/27: The Ultimate Monsters War
I didn't watch Godzilla that much when I was a kid, but it always intrigue me to see this big monster roaming around and destroying things in the name of protecting us.....
One thing I didn't know is there are 25+ Godzilla movies since 1950s'! One recent one that everyone knows are the Hollywood version, but I just found the giant monster in that movie kind of ugly and un-Godzilla.
There was even a OpenGL game about monsters destroying city called battalion. It's fun.
So, a new one is coming, claiming to be the last one for a while. I will missed this big lizard.

05/19: How to flow your cloth
05/15: So, they found me
I just noticed this afternoon a referer from Google point to my post on my experience making Green Onion Pancake. It probably just happened within this week, I think it is either a post in the Nucleus forum that point them to me, or a plugin writer testing the Trackback code and somehow they follows the lead.
So, unavoidable my blog is known to the public now. I was trying to lay low since I got my blog going becasue I feel that it's not ready for primetime yet, and I am worry about all those comment/referer spammers out there. I was able to hide for 7 months.
Otherwise, it's cool to see people browsing my blog.
Update: got visits from inktomisearch.... which screwed the karma vote....
Update2: changed robots.txt to block bots, hopefully this prevents my rants poluting the search engines.....
